INSS 395 - Data Management for Enterprise Analytics


3 credits
3 hours per week.

This course focuses on data management and feature engineering from a business perspective. The course deals with data management within organizations: data governance, master data management, storage architectures for data analytics, characterization of data; strategies for cleaning data; feature engineering objectives, strategies, and techniques.  Students are taught to leverage organizational data and information assets by using sound analytical frameworks for operational, tactical, and strategic purposes. Students will experience practical applications of data management & feature engineering through guided exercises and case studies.

Prerequisite(s) INSS 360   completed with a grade of “C” or higher
