Objectives of the Department

The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies seeks, in its general education courses and in its major curricula, to foster in students knowledge that will enable them to develop a reasoned view of reality, a critical understanding of our contemporary perspective, and to provide solid preparation for employment, graduate or professional school.
