Required Courses for the Major in History (Pre-Law Track)
Students majoring in History and following the Pre- Law track get a strong foundation in the discipline and solid training in the following areas: (1) effective oral and written communication, (2) critical textual analysis, (3) critical thinking, (4) argumentation and rhetoric, and (5) social and governmental institutions, traditions and values that shape the legal world. They must complete the following requirements:
Required History Courses: 27 Credits
Pre-Law Track Requirements: 30 Credits
Liberal Arts Core Requirements: 6 Credits
In addition, students following the Pre-Law Track must complete the following two courses in order to satisfy the Liberal Arts Core (LAC) Requirement:
