Sociology Minor

Required Courses for the Minor in Sociology

Students majoring in other departments who choose to minor in Sociology must complete the following courses with a grade of “C” or better. Additionally, none of the courses may be used to satisfy requirements in the major or any other requirements for graduation:

• SOCI 101 - Introduction to Sociology 3 Credits
• SOCI 205 - Social Problems 3 Credits
• SOCI 302 - Social Theory 3 Credits
• SOCI 351 - Introduction to Social Statistics 3 Credits
• SOCI 380 - Methods of Social Research I 3 Credits
• SOCI XXX - Sociology Elective 3 credits.
