The major in Marketing requires 27 credits beyond the General Education and Earl G. Graves School of Business & Management requirements. The 12 credits of required Marketing courses are: MKTG 335 , MKTG 345 , MKTG 420 , and MKTG 495 . Students can choose 9 credits of electives from any MKTG course (300-499) not required or already taken or any GSBM course (300-499) not required or already taken. The 3 credit GSBM elective must be a 300-400 level course selected from outside the student’s major, but within the School of Business and Management.
Requirements for the B.S. Degree in Marketing
A minimum of 120 credit hours are required to graduate with a B.S. in Marketing. These credit hours are distributed as follows:
General Education and University Requirements 42 credits
Business Core and Supporting Courses 48 credits
Required Courses for the Marketing Major 30
Total Credits 120
All Supporting, Business Core, and Major Required Courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher.
