CYBR 320 - Principles of Ethical Hacking


3 credits
This course will introduce students to how systems can be attacked and identify system vulnerabilities. Topics include flaw hypothesis methodology, families of attacks, flaws that lead to vulnerabilities, enumeration, foot printing, attack surface discovery, and attack vectors. Students will also identify attacks caused from within the enterprise by identifying flaws from documentation and source code by utilizing vulnerability scanning. Penetration testing through understanding methodologies, analyzing source and binary code analysis, sandboxing, and standard analysis tools and methods are covered in this course.

Prerequisite(s) CYBR 150  and INSS 391  completed with grades of “C” or higher
