CYBR 480 - Cybersecurity Planning and Management


3 credits
This course covers the broad coverage of the “Cybersecurity Common Body of Knowledge” (CBK) and how it affects operational, tactical, and strategic planning and management. Students will analyze scenarios that are relevant in each. The student will learn enterprise-level security planning which will address physical security, personnel security, system and data, identification, system security plans, configuration and patch management, system documentation, incident response program, disaster recovery program, certification, and accreditation. Students will learn the implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery. Students will develop processes and procedures for incident response, planning for protecting intellectual property, managing the performance of access controls, managing patch and change control, and security program management.

Prerequisite(s) CYBR 150  completed with a grade of “C” or higher
