* denotes a department required supporting/major course which may fulfill a general education requirement and must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher
1 CHEM Elective must be one course chosen from CHEM 202 or CHEM 304 . Please know that only CHEM 304 can fulfill a minor in chemistry. A 400 level BIOL Course is not an option and CHEM 304 is the only choice for this if following the Biomedical/Pre-Professional Track
2 Quantitative Analysis Elective is one course chosen from the following: ACCT 201 , ECON 211 , ECON 212 , PSYC 316 , PSYC 317 , MATH 120 , MATH 241 , MATH 242 , MATH 331 . PSYC 316 must be chosen if following the Biomedical/Pre-Professional Track
3 BIOL 450 , BIOL 451 , and BIOL 453 may not be used to satisfy the 400 level Biology Course requirement
4 BIOL 455 (1 credit seminar course) may not be used to satisfy the 400 level Biology Course requirement nor the Scientific Writing course
5 For the Free Elective, students may choose a course that is not being used to concomitantly fulfill another Biology curriculum requirement, a university general education requirement, or the complementary studies requirement. It is in the best interest of the student to choose a course that is directly pertinent to and which adds breadth to the student’s particular interest, continued education and career goals
6 MATH 241 and MATH 242 are co-requisites for PHYS 205 and PHYS 205L and PHYS 206 and PHYS 206L respectively, if selected
7 BIOL 209 must be taken if following the Biomedical/Pre-Professional Track
8 A second math course is not required if following the Biomedical/Pre-Professional Track, but is encouraged
