Hospitality Management Honors Program Curriculum Sequence


Suggested Curriculum Sequence


This curriculum guide is a planning tool.  Matriculated students and advisors should consult Degree Works before and after registration for classes each semester to track academic progress.

All Supporting, Business Core, and Major Required Courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher.

First Year (Semester One): 17 Credits


First Year (Semester Two): 16 Credits


Second Year (Semester Two): 15 Credits


Fourth Year (Semester Two): 12 Credits


Total Credits: 120


*denotes a department required supporting/major course that may fulfill a general education requirement and must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher

1 Honors students must choose from the following courses to fulfill the CT requirement: PHIL 119 ARCH 105 , COMM 300 , MHTC 340   

2 For Hospitality Majors, six (6) credits must be chosen from the following:  MGBU 361 , MGBU 486 , ENTR 351 HOMG 483 ,  HOMG 485 HOMG 486 ,  HRMG 329 ,  HRMG 420 MKTG 338  , Foreign Language sequence 100-499 

3 GSBM Elective: Any course (300-499) not required or already taken

4  Free Elective: any three (3) credit course that is not a general education, core, or major requirement

Honor students take Honors Seminars in Professional Development (MGBU 108  -MGBU 408 MGBU 109 -MGBU 409 ) each semester they are enrolled at Morgan. Honors Seminars are Pass/Fail courses.
