THEA 305 - Theatre Management 3 credits 3 hours per week.
Students will learn the essential skills needed to lead, organize, and sustain a performing arts organization. Topics include budgeting and financial planning, marketing and audience development, fundraising strategies, production planning, staff and volunteer management, and navigating legal and ethical issues in the arts. Through case studies, hands-on projects, and guest lectures from industry professionals, students will gain practical experience and insights into the challenges and rewards of managing both commercial and nonprofit theatre organizations.
